Purpose of award: To support and recognize achievement among law students .
Eligibility requirements: The ABA sponsors a variety of essay and writing competitions for law students. Each is centered on a specific legal topic. Topics include: affordable housing and community, community development law, law and aging, antitrust, business law, criminal justice, dispute resolution, entertainment and sports law, family law, health care, labor and employment, liability, education, public contracts, real estate, tort and insurance and children.
